The Aldea Vella Cultural Association was born in 2018 not as an isolated project, but as a commitment to our countryside. Although our roots are in Astariz, our heart beats for the entire municipality and for the surrounding villages that share the same history and the same challenge. We understand that culture knows no administrative borders. That is why we work to build bridges between neighbors, highlighting the tangible and intangible heritage that defines us as a people. Our purpose is to revitalize the community spirit, creating meeting spaces where the tradition of each village adds up and makes our territory stronger. From the heart of Castrelo de Miño, we promote initiatives that seek to bring life and pride back to our villages. Because we believe that the future of our rural area is written together, joining forces and sharing that unique essence that binds us to the land.
